The stay
People come to the Munya for a retreat, for quiet work, or for measured company. The house receives few guests at a time, and that limit is the main service it renders.

What is included
The room
A private room with its own bathroom. Six rooms only, of contained proportion, where quality is read in the material rather than in the floor area.
The common rooms
The courtyard and its porticoes, the hall, the salon, the garden and the oratory.
The table
Meals are prepared in the kitchen of the house. The table is shared at fixed hours and solitary the rest of the time, as the guest asks.
The threshold.
What is not offered
A hotel service, with what it implies of permanent availability and anonymity. The house has staff, hours and habits; whoever stays there fits into them rather than the reverse.
The separation from the house of formation
Two entrances, two kitchens, two staffs, two circulations. One single door in the common wall, which opens exclusively from the side of the house of formation.
A guest may spend a week at the Munya without ever seeing the house of formation, and that is the ordinary case.
Who may come, and when
Al-Munya is the guesthouse, and it has two parts. Dar al-Asl receives without charge the guests of the house of formation, whom the house itself invites. Dar al-Diyafa receives, at their own charge, the guests of An-Nudama: a member of the majlis of An-Nudama and the persons he presents under his own responsibility; the introduction binds the one who makes it.
Dates are asked for in advance, because the number of rooms is small and the house does not double itself.
