The structure

The ecosystem

The two houses repeat the same structure: under the pact stand the Riad Al-Uns in Fez and Al-Funduq as-Siqilli in Sicily, and within each the house where life is shared, the workshops where the work is done, and Al-Munya, the guesthouse, which gathers Dar al-Bidaya and Dar al-Diyafa. In Sicily the land is added. Every body bears its crest and every workshop its sign, and they are the same in both seats.

The two houses under the pact. The workshops are eight: five, plus the three the saddlery gathers. The saddlery has its own sign but no colour of its own, since whoever works there wears that of his craft. In Sicily it is the opening craft and the others open in turn. An-Nudama does not appear, because it is not a house.
